George Jenkin ( - 2007)

 

George Jenkin died in June 2007 shortly after donating this work to the JCR Art Fund Collection. He was a Pembrokian and a contemporary of Antony Emery, who won an MC within 24 hours of landing in Normandy. His first love was of poetry. Started painting in the 1960s, but took up drawing after suffering a stroke, having to learn to work left-handed.
